We would suggest purchasing a waterproof top so you can easily clean it up. Alternatively you can buy a replacement top for your desk here.

Can I use it outside?
Absolutely. However it is cardboard, so we would recommend avoiding moisture when you do.

Can I recycle it?
You sure can. Refold desks have been designed to be completely recyclable. Our waterproof tops are also completely recyclable.

How long will it last?
As long as you look after it, you can expect it to last at least 2-3 years.

How much weight can it take?
The desk can withstand the weight of an average human, however we wouldn’t recommend standing on it. It has no problem supporting the weight of a large monitor. If a heavy object is left on it for an extended period of time, it may cause the cardboard to sag slightly underneath it.

Where are your products manufactured?
Our products are manufactured locally in both Wellington, New Zealand, & Wollongong, Australia, from locally produced materials. Australian orders are dispaqcthed from Wollongong, NZ & other international orders are dispacthed from Wellington.

How do I put the desk together?
An instructional video is available here. An instruction booklet is also included with all desks.

Can I buy it in person?
At this stage you can only buy Refold desks from our website.

Can you invoice the company I work at for my order?
Yes, we can arrange an invoice to be sent. Get in touch with us here with the details of what you'd like to order.

I’d like to place a large order, how do I go about this?
For orders of 20 desks or more please get in touch.

What is your refund policy?
Due to the nature of the product, we are unable to accept returns or refunds unless the product is damaged in transit or faulty.

It’s been a long time since I ordered and I’m yet to receive it?

Do I need to pay duty or taxes on my order?
This varies from country to country. We recommend you contact your local customs authority for more information.

The tracking status for my order has been on ‘ held for clearance’ for a long time, what does this mean?
It’s likely there are duties for you to pay on your order and it’s probably being held by your local customs authority. This is out of our control, we recommend you contact your local customs authority to resolve it.

What happens if my desk arrives with damage?
When shipping items there is always a chance they could receive damage during their journey. If your desk does arrive with significant damage we’ll replace it free of charge.

Is a signature required for delivery?
Yes a signature is required all delivery of all orders. We suggest you choose a delivery address that will have someone there during normal work hours.

What if I order the wrong size?
You may return your desk and exchange it for a different size with shipping at your own cost.

Can I print on the desk?
Yes, we are able to offer CMYK digital printing on all surfaces of the desk.

How much does printing cost?
This varies depending on what bits of the desk you’re printing on. You can view the costs here.

How long does it take to print a desk?
Printing usually takes 2-3 weeks once artwork is finalised.

What happens after I order a printed desk?
Once we've received your order, we will email you requesting the files you wish to print. Once we have recevied the file/s from you we will send you a mock up for you to approve. Once approved it will take 2-3 weeks to be printed.

Note: due to the size of the desk we recommend vector based files such as abobe illustator (.ai), .eps, or PDF formats. If you supply an image based file (.jpeg, .TIFF, .png) then the size of the print will be restricted by the size of your image file.

Can I hire or rent out a desk?
We do not currently offer a rental or hire service.

Can I get a free sample or demo desk?
We do not currently give samples or demos.

Do you have a showroom or can I see a desk in a store somewhere?
We do not currently have a showroom or have them on display in any stores. However, if you’re in Wellington, NZ, you can come and see them in use at our office. Just contact us to arrange a viewing.

Do you have a stockist in my country?
No, we only sell through our online store.
